We had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Razvan Dican and Dr. Abhishek Pandey from Sana Klinikum Hof, Germany, to Lucknow for the launch of a special supplement to the South Asian Journal of Geriatric Medicine, Surgery, Palliative Care & Hospice. Their visit was a remarkable opportunity for our teams to connect over a shared vision of enhancing care for the elderly. Their presence added an international dimension to our journal launch, and shed light on the importance of collaboration in addressing the unique needs of geriatric patients.
During their visit, Dr. Dican and Dr. Pandey engaged in meaningful discussions with our medical professionals, exchanging valuable insights into geriatric care, advanced surgical techniques, and the delivery of palliative support. Their approach to managing the health of elderly patients, especially those facing multiple medical challenges, offered fresh perspectives. Our team felt inspired by their dedication, which will surely influence our future practices and strengthen our mission to provide quality care.
We aim for this journal to serve as a vital resource for healthcare providers across South Asia, promoting knowledge and collaboration in geriatric and palliative care. We are grateful for the opportunity to forge these connections and look forward to future partnerships that support our work and inspire growth in elderly care worldwide.
